Cal

Hi all,The 2-320 newsletter came in the mail today. It had a lot of information about Cal's group and their activities and whereabouts. The CNN crew Cal took with him on the mission I told you about last month filed the report below. Follow the limk and you can watch - it is about four minutes and quite interesting.http://edition.cnn.com/video/?/video/world/2008/01/27/holmes.iraq.operation.fulton.cnnThe newsletter also said that directly after this mission the Soldiers from Cal's group went out on partnership missions, gaining the support of many tribal leaders who want to help move Al Qaida out of their territory. The CO also noted the promotions for February stating "SGT Anderson is a team leader with the Infantry Platoon attached to HHB during this deployment". The commander ended by stating "...we are at a tipping point in this conflict, and we are clearly winning..."By the way, I don't know if you see Cal in the CNN video or not. If you watch there are a few possible sightings - but I did notice his MRAP is never filmed. Since part of the crew did "overnight" with Cal's team in the sand I'm sure they were at least entertained by him.The newsletter did have a few pictures, and once I can scan them I will send them along as well.ThanksPaul
