Amy is home from Louisiana and working on the barge, Crossmar 7. Waiting for both Amy and Cal, we have been trying make the house and backyard perfect for visiting with friends and family. Here are some of our improvements.

Amy brought home a chestnut sappling, a gift from a friend.
Paul painted a very old but much loved chair.
Most of my plants are suffering from not enough sun and a proliferation of slugs. The asparagus fern seems happy despite it all.
Paul installed Tiki lamps. In the background, Paul built a Tiki bar.
Paul wired the deck for lights.
I had to have new cushions.
