The boats are beginning to stack up, tying up to their space. When all the boats are in and tied, the locks will close behind and the little canal will fill with water. The boat in front, Daedalus, will rise to the top of the water line you see on the wall.
Lots of boats.
The last boat is in and you can see the gate is closed.
The Daedalus is much higher now.
Now the front gate is opened and the boats can enter the ship canal.
