Long Island, NY 1968

In the summer of 1968, we took a trip to NY to visit Grandma and Grandpa Wood at their Long Island home. We traveled by a jumbo jet, a brand new Boeing 747, leaving SeaTac airport and landing at JFK airport. This was in the day when you got off the plane, you took the steps from the plane onto the tarmak.
Below are some of the sights we saw while visiting.
Rockefeller Center
We took a long drive, we drove past the Empire State building.
We drove across the George Washington Bridge.
Taking the Staten Island ferry, which cost all of .05 cents, we went past the Statue of Liberty.
Thank you for the trip down memory lane with me.
