This Uncle Dave and Aunt Irene. This is a birthday party for both of them. They are actually Paul's aunt and uncle, but they are very dear to me. Here they are with one of their 3 daughters and all of her family.
Uncle Dave was a very influential person to Paul.

This them again with one of their other daughters and her family.

Uncle Dave was a Portland police officer for many years. Someone had an album with some newspaper clippings. Two of these clippings tells of when he helped deliver a babies. I loved these old clippings. I loved the dated looks of the photos, it must have been the 1940's.

This gathering was for their 90th birthdays. Both of them have birthdays about the same time and are the same age. They have lived in Portland nearly their entire lives. I was blessed enough to have worn Aunt Irene's wedding dress. She was so gracious as to let me alter it and wear it. I loved that dress. It was a vintage 1940's satin dress. Sorry, I don't have a picture of it.

Here they are with some extended family.
Happy Birthday!!
