Squirrel Nutkin

Here is the bait. You can see the flash of Squirrel Nutkin's tail to the right.

This fella was keeping his eye on the bait too. He wanted his share, but was not as brazen as SN.

Sometimes he wonders if he can be quick as a squirrel and get a good treat.

Getting a good close up was difficult. Little SN was too fast for a good snap shop.

He came back for more.

Oh, look at his bounty!

Picking out the right nut takes time, even for Mr. Squirrel Nutkin.

This was entertainment at my Grandma's house last Sunday. She loves to feed the local wildlife. I think word spreads among the Nutkin family. They know where to go for a tasty snack.

Now if he could only remember where he hid that last nut.
