Part 1 of this post will focus on Emily. Part 2, which I will post tomorrow will be about Hannah. I don't have Hannah's pictures uploaded yet. She was chosen to be the photographer for a new band when they perform. Last night was her first session at a performance at a local venue.
So, here is the Emily story.
Emily is preparing for her first prom. I loved her choice of nail color.
It matches the lip color. Emily is very low key about these kinds of things.
This is Harrison, Emily's date. The prom was for his high school. They are an adorable couple, but I am very partial.
Emily and Harrison shopped for Emily's dress together. Most daughter's would shop with their mother for the perfect dress making it mother-daughter event, complete with bonding and getting all the right accessories. Well, that was not the choice for this couple. It was important for Emily to pick out her dress with Harrison. I was very comfortable with Emily's choice to shop with Harrison. I knew they would select the perfect dress. I think Emily might be a little like her mom and just a little unconventional with some of her choices. When the two of them found the perfect dress for her, she very carefully wadded up the dress and placed it in her purse. Hey, why not?

The dress survived the wadding and the purse : )Hannah's story will be tomorrow.
