Hey Dad! I am glad to wish you a very happy birthday today!
My mom and dad were married pretty young and supporting a family is difficult enough. But the struggles faced in my parents young marriage, helped form who I am today. I am thankful for all I have learned through the many struggles. I can honestly say, those difficult memories are precious and I am thankful. But...I can also say, I am so glad they are behind me. My parents could have made many choices, and I am so glad for each and every choice they made. Thanks, DAD! Happy Birthday!
Last year, we made a tour of the old days. Here, he is standing in the "smoking" hang out at his high school.
Dad and his younger brother, Uncle Norm. These 2 are pretty close and if you can't tell by the tower in the background, grew up here in Seattle.
The lighting here is all wrong, I had to post it any way. I love hanging out with these men.
