Rachel's Graduation

Rachel took her last final on the night these pictures were taken. She has worked 4 long years and she has achieved a huge milestone. We couldn't be prouder of her. I loved it she came home a celebrated with us. She is a loving aunt to baby Gunnar. He doesn't seem to be too aware of the party atmosphere.

Hannah made Rachel an espresso mocha cake. She did an incredible save on this cake. It cracked as she was assembling the layers. She fixed it my frosting the cake and adding instant coffee and cocoa sprinkles over the cake to show off the crack. Then she added a little bridge to symbolize the fact that Rachel is crossing a bridge in life.

Rachel's next step will be to travel to Thailand for more schooling. She will be there learning how to teach English to non-English speaking students and will be there for a month.
Then in a few months, likely in February, she will travel to Korea for a year to teach English to Korean students. This will be a very tough year for Paul and I. We will miss Rachel very much.

Gunnar will miss Rachel too.

Her sisters are very proud of her acheivement. Congratulations, Rachel!!!!!
You have done an amazing job. We can't wait to see the great things you will do.
Love you, Rachie!
